Xiaomi has just launched the Mi 11 Lite smartphone. The company held an online conference today (March 29, 2021) and announced various other products such as the flagship Mi 11 Ultra.
Mi 11 Lite 5G specifications
The device is an upper middle class handset that is the first in the world to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G processor. It is the first 700 series chipset to be based on a 5nm process and paired with the Adreno 642 GPU. The device has 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded by up to 512 GB via an external microSD card.
On the front of the handset is a 6.55-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 90 Hz. For photography, the front has a 20-megapixel hole-hole selfie camera, while the back has a Triple camera module with a 64 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 5 MP macro sensor. The Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by a large 4,250 mAh battery that supports fast charging of up to 33 W.
The company also stated that the Mi 11 Lite will be the lightest and thinnest Mi phone in history, measuring just 160.53mm x 75.72mm x 6.81mm and weighing just 159 grams. The Mi 11 Lite 5G also supports the Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6E standards. In addition, the display of the Mi 11 Lite supports 5G HDR + and has the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The handset runs by default on the custom MIUI 12 skin based on Android 10 and offers the usual connectivity options.
Pricing and Color
The Mi 11 Lite 5G is available in several color variants, namely black, pink, blue, green, yellow and white. For pricing, the Mi 11 Lite is available in two different memory configurations, including:
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G (8GB + 128GB) – 2,299 yuan (about $ 350)
- Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G (8GB + 256GB) – 2,599 yuan (about $ 395)
