Further details on the alleged Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 “Pro” have become known and offer a better idea of the chipset and possibly the displays of the devices.
Google’s GS101 Whitechapel chipset, which supposedly powers the device, is said to be inconsistent with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in terms of performance. Noisy leaks Max Weinbach and YogeshIt will be built on a 5nm process and its performance will be closer to that of the Snapdragon 870.
Google will apparently rely on machine learning and AI power for its upcoming flagship smartphones, largely expected from the Google Silicon rumor.
Samsung has also been rumored to be building the chip. So far, everything points to the Pixel 6 chipset with a Mali-G78 GPU, the same GPU as devices such as the Exynos variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Another tidbit found “Evidence” (via XDA developer) the GPU in the Google Issue Tracker, which points to a “P21” device and the Mali-G78 GPU, although the number of cores and the clock speed are unknown.

A release date for the devices is still unclear, but Weinbach expects the new Pixel 6 smartphones to hit the market around October or November, depending on the impact of the current chip shortage. They are expected to be released along with the rumored Google Pixel Watch.
