Over the past few quarters, HUAWEI has quietly diversified its portfolio of products, particularly in the computer accessories space. The 23.8-inch HUAWEI display markets the company’s foray into the field of monitors and is now building on these foundations. The latest addition to the company’s product family is the HUAWEI MateView GT curved screen gaming monitor that has a cool dual front firing speaker bar embedded in the stand.

The design looks like a million dollars, but the features are impressive too. You get a beautiful curved 34-inch LCD display with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The The screen offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz, an aspect ratio of 21: 9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 91 percent. The panel of the HUAWEI MateView GT covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 121 percent of the sRGB palette, while the maximum brightness output is 350 nits.

Interestingly, the HUAWEI MateView GT Curved Gaming Monitor comes with it a dark field control function that automatically adjusts the display brightness in low light and overexposed scenesso that users can easily identify items on the screen, especially opponents in a competitive game. It also supports local dimming technology and has also passed TÜV Rheinland test to reduce harmful blue light exposures.

Speaking of the cool soundbar at the base of the HUAWEI MateView GT: It contains two speakers with 2.0 stereo sound support. In addition, the RGB touch panel on the top can be adjusted with the option of making volume adjustments and lighting effects. It is currently up for grabs in China and will soon find its way to Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan and other regions.

In addition to a monitor geared towards games, the company is expanding its portfolio with another interesting product: HUAWEI MateView, a flagship monitor with a breathtaking design and impressive technical data. It features a 28.2-inch 4K HDR display with a unique 3: 2 aspect ratio, an impressive 94 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The panel covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and 100 percent of the sRGB spectrum.
