The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will go on sale for the first time at 12 noon (midnight) in India. According to Samsung, which launched earlier this week, the handset is the first midsize and affordable 5G smartphone. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and has a quad rear camera highlighted by a 48 megapixel main camera. The smartphone is also equipped with the South Korean company’s Knox security system and a contactless and NFC-supported Samsung Pay solution.

Samsung Galaxy M42 5G price starts at Rs. 21,999 for the 6GB + 128GB memory model. The 8 GB + 128 GB storage option costs Rs. 23,999. Samsung says the phone will be available at an effective price of Rs. 19,999 for the 6GB variant and Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB variant over Rs. 2,000 coupon as part of a limited time introductory offer. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The memory can be expanded up to 1 TB via the microSD card slot. As mentioned earlier, the handset has Knox security and Samsung Pay.
