The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and the specs and renders of its 4G counterpart have surfaced online. These two models are likely to be slightly weakened versions of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G previously presented. The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Samsung Galaxy A22 4G have several differences. Although they look almost identical in design, the 5G model has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the 4G model includes a built-in fingerprint scanner. The two phones also differ in other specifications.
In its report, 91Mobiles shared the renders and specs of the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Samsung Galaxy A22 4G models. According to the report, both models may hit the market in the coming months and are expected to come in four color options – black, white, purple and green. An exact start date has not yet been announced by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is said to have a waterdrop style notch with a slight chin at the bottom. There may be a square camera module on the back that houses three sensors with a 48-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is equipped with a fingerprint scanner attached to the side.
Other specifications for the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G may include a 6.4-inch Full HD + LCD display and be powered by the MediaTek DImensity 700 SoC. The phone is reported to contain a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. It should weigh 205 grams and be 9 mm thick.

The Samsung Galaxy A22 4G also features a waterdrop style notch display with a slight chin at the bottom. It has a square camera module like the 5G model, but contains four sensors instead of three. This setup is expected to include a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone should have a 13-megapixel sensor for selfies. With the 4G variant, a fingerprint sensor can be seen in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 4G model may have a 6.4-inch HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. The 4G model will likely also include a 5,000 mAh battery with a 15 W charge. It could weigh 185 grams and be 8.5 mm thick.
