Redmi Note 10S is apparently being teased by Xiaomi for launching in India soon. The company has posted a photo with a retail box listing the key specifications of an upcoming Redmi phone. The company is widely expected to launch Redmi Note 10S in India as the tucked specs match the phone that launched globally last month. Xiaomi has already launched three Redmi Note 10 series models in India – Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max – and may want to add another model to the mix.
The company has teased the arrival of a new Redmi phone by its official Twitter account. The teaser contains a picture of a sales box with the most important technical data of the phone. The upcoming Redmi handset has a 64 megapixel main camera that runs on MIUI 12.5 and comes in three color options: blue, dark gray and white. It is geared towards games, supports Hi-Res audio and has a super display. Given the specs, the phone is expected to be the Redmi Note 10S, which was unveiled worldwide last month.
If Xiaomi actually launches the Redmi Note 10S in India anytime soon, the price should be somewhere in the range of the Redmi Note 10, which is available from Rs. Currently 12,499. A recent leak suggested that Redmi Note 10S would be launched in India in three memory configurations – 6 GB + 64 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB, and 8 GB + 128 GB.
The globally launched Redmi Note 10S runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5, has a 6.43-inch full HD + hole punch display (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. It will contain a 5,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charge and will have a quad camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2- Megapixel depth sensor. The Redmi Note 10S is equipped with a 13-megapixel selfie sensor. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and also supports AI Face Unlock.
