Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro phones are now receiving Android 11 updates in India. After a few months of testing, the stable version for Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 is finally released. Realme confirms that this is a gradual rollout and that the update will not be applied to handsets immediately. It may take a while for all users to receive a notification, and users can still manually search in the settings. The Android 11 update offers a variety of customizations, including three dark mode styles to choose from.

The company took to the forums to announce the launch of Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 for Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro. The version number for Realme 7 Pro is RMX2170_11.C.20 and the version number for Realme 6 Pro is RMX2061_11.C.15. The update will initially be distributed randomly to a limited number of users and will be rolled out more widely in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.

The change logs for Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro are the same, and the Realme UI 2.0 update based on Android 11 offers more personalization to allow users to customize the interface, including the ability to create their own wallpaper by changing colors from their own Select photos. The update supports third-party icons for apps on the home screen and offers three dark style modes to choose from – extended, medium, and gentle.

After the update, Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro users can drag text, pictures or files in split screen mode from a floating window or from one app to another app. The update also optimizes the editing page of the Smart Sidebar, on which two tabs are now displayed and the order of the elements can be adjusted. The update adds optimized night charging, a feature that controls the charging speed at night to help extend battery life. In addition, the update offers tone tunes, adjustments for DND mode, weather animations, vibration effects for text input and gameplay as well as optimized automatic brightness.

The Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro update offers the ability to remove one folder or combine it with another. Users can add “drawer mode” filters by letter, installation time, or frequency of use to quickly find an app. To improve security and privacy, the update adds a system cloner and allows users to enable or disable the app lock in quick settings. It offers more powerful SOS functions, quick access to emergency information and an optimized authorization manager. The update adds an immersive mode that has reduced glitches while gaming and changed the way you can access Game Assistant.

After this update, Realme 7 Pro and Realme 6 Pro users will be able to share their personal hotspot with others via a QR code. The update adds the Cloud Sync for Private Safe feature, which allows you to synchronize and optimize the photos in a private safe with the cloud. Photo editing functions with improved algorithms and more markup effects and filters. The camera app has shortcuts for quick editing and sharing of photos. It also has an inertial zoom feature, as well as a new layer and grid feature that you can use to create videos. There’s a new sleep capsule that allows users to schedule downtime and a new sound amplifier that can be used to amplify weak noises in the area.
