Oppo Reno 5A was launched in Japan with IP68 certification. The new Oppo phone is equipped with four rear cameras and has a 90 Hz display. Other important highlights of the Oppo Reno 5A are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, 128 GB of storage and a hole-punch design. Functions with artificial intelligence (AI) are also preinstalled on the smartphone, e.g. B. Ultra Night Video, Live HDR and Neon Portrait. It is also able to record video from the front and rear cameras at the same time.
Oppo Reno 5A availability
Oppo Reno 5A price is not yet known. The phone is however get to Japan’s Y! Mobile at the beginning of next June in the colors ice blue and silver black. Pricing and availability details for the Reno 5A in other markets were not disclosed at the time of filing this story.
The Oppo Reno 5A was designed as the successor to the Reno 3A, which was launched last year at a price of 39,800 JPY (approx. Rs 26,600).

The Oppo Reno 5A runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top and has a 6.5-inch Full HD + (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) LTPS display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a refresh rate of 90 Hz The display also has a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz and a pixel density of 405 ppi. Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 5A has an octa-core SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There’s a quad rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with a f / 1.7 lens. The camera setup also includes an 8-megapixel secondary camera sensor with a f / 2.2 ultra wide angle lens, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor with a f / 2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
For selfies and video chats, the Reno 5A has a 16-megapixel camera sensor with a 1: 2.0 lens at the front. The phone also offers significant dust and water resistance thanks to its IP68 certification.
The Oppo Reno 5A has 128 GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1 TB). Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB Type C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On-board sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light, a gyroscope, a pedometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a back-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Oppo has provided a 4,000 mAh battery for the Reno 5A that supports fast charging of up to 18 W via the QuickCharge and USB Power Delivery (PD) standards. The phone measures 162 x 74.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 182 grams.
