Oppo K9 5G will be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC, the Chinese company has confirmed via a post on Weibo. The smartphone will be launched in China on May 6th. Previous reports suggest that Oppo may also launch the Oppo Enco Air TWS earbuds and a new Oppo smart band. The company tested both devices in a separate post and they have already been listed on an e-commerce website in China.

According to a post by Oppo on Weibo, the Oppo K9 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC clocked at 2.8 GHz for faster gaming performance. The SoC has an Adreno 620 GPU and a Kryo 475 CPU, which enable graphics rendering and performance improvement by 15 percent faster than the Snapdragon 765G. It has also been confirmed that the smartphone has VC liquid cooling technology (translated) to keep the temperature of the handset under control during gaming sessions.

In its latest post on Weibo, Oppo also teased a pair of TWS headphones – presumably Oppo Enco Air – and a smart band that may launch alongside the Oppo K9 5G on May 6th. The event is scheduled for 3 p.m. local time (12.30 p.m. IST). The post contains silhouettes of a smartphone, TWS headphones and a smartband.

All three devices have already been listed on JD.com. The listing suggests that the Oppo K9 5G will have blue and gray colorways. The phone will likely come with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configurations. It is also equipped with 65W fast charge and a hole cutout for the selfie camera. Details on the TWS headphones and the smartband have not yet been disclosed by Oppo. However, the headphones should support Bluetooth v5.2 and be available in black and white.

A previous Oppo post had confirmed that the smartphone has a triple rear camera guided by a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
