OnePlus Nord CE 5G and OnePlus Nord 2 (not the official names) could soon hit the market, according to a tipster. The two phones may have been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, suggesting an imminent Indian launch. At this point, both phones are codenamed, so OnePlus may still surprise us. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is considered to be the successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, which was not launched in India by the brand. The OnePlus Nord 2 is said to be the successor to the OnePlus Nord that the company launched in India last July. So far, OnePlus has not passed any information on to any of the phones.

Tipper Mukul Sharma tweeted A screenshot of an alleged BIS list for two OnePlus models – EB2101 and DN2101. The tipster states that OnePlus EBBA is the code name for the model number EB2101, while OnePlus Denniz is the code name for the mode number DN2101. In addition, the OnePlus EBBA code name is said to be the successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, while the OnePlus Denniz is said to be the code name of the OnePlus Nord 2. The BIS listing suggests the phones are being introduced in India.

The OnePlus Nord N10 5G was launched on the European market last October and made available in North America in January of this year. The budget-friendly phone didn’t make it to India. On the other hand, OnePlus launched a budget-friendly phone in India in July 2020 in the form of OnePlus Nord.

The successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G is said to have been called the OnePlus Nord N1 5G until recently. One report claimed it will be called the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. No further information was provided on the phone. As early as March it was reported that the OnePlus Nord N10 5G successor will have the same design and a hole-punch cutout. It is said to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a triple rear-view camera, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. According to a current report, the OnePlus Nord 2 could be operated with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.
