Last year’s Mi 10 Ultra was not only Xiaomi’s top-of-the-line flagship but also one of the best premium phones released. Unfortunately, the device is exclusive to China and is not sold in other regions. A leak has revealed that two of the phones Xiaomi plans to release tomorrow will not be available outside of its home country either.

According to the Xiaomiui Twitter account (@xiaomiui), the Mi 11 Pro will not be launched worldwide as it will be available exclusively for China. In a quoted response to the original tweet, the account stated that the new Mi MIX phone, code-named “cetus”, will also be available exclusively in China. However, both devices will be announced at the global event.

It’s not all bad news. In response to a question under the original tweet, the account revealed that the Mi 11 Ultra will be available for global markets including India. This should be good news for those who wanted the Mi 10 Ultra but couldn’t get their hands on it. However, there is a chance that availability will vary with respect to markets.

For those who are sad about the upcoming Mi MIX, which is expected to be a foldable phone, Xiaomi plans to launch three foldable phones this year, if previous reports are to be believed. So there is a high probability that at least one of them will be available worldwide.

The Mi 11 Ultra isn’t the only phone that will be available outside of China tomorrow. The Mi 11 Lite will also be available for global markets and will be announced in the 4G and 5G variants.

As there is no confirmation of the above information, we recommend our readers to take it with a pinch of salt.
