Google is preparing several useful additions for the Google Play Store. In Wednesday’s Google I / O session, Product Management Director Alex Musil discussed some of the changes coming to the Play Store, including new ways to discover and pay for apps on both smartphones and Wear OS.
A new feature in the Play Store is multi-volume purchases. This allows users to select more than one item in their shopping cart by choosing how many they want. This is most likely useful for certain types of passes.
Google is also rolling out multi-line subscriptions that make it easy for users to add add-on items to their monthly payments. With prepaid plans, users can only pay for content for a certain period of time, e.g. B. a monthly pass for transport.

In addition to these new payment options, Google is making it easy to install apps on the best Wear OS watches right from a smartphone. When installing certain apps, users can now choose where to install the app. Users can only choose from the smartphone app, the Wear OS app, or both. Theoretically, the app is automatically transferred to your smartwatch.
Google will also make it easier to find out which apps have Wear OS counterparts by giving the platform its own section in the Play Store. This should make it more convenient than the current methods of downloading from a desktop or even the smartwatch itself, which is not an ideal experience as it stands.
Many of these new features will be available soon on the Google Play Store, so users can expect them to be available sometime this year along with the new updates for Google and the Samsung Wear OS.
