The American Triple Crown of Horse Racing comes to an end this weekend with the last race in the series and we have all the details on how to watch this year’s Belmont Stakes on TV or online.

Just like the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, the Belmont Stakes is a Class 1 American thoroughbred race with 3 year old thoroughbred horses running on a 2,400 meter course in Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. The race, traditionally held five weeks after the Kentucky Derby and three weeks after the Preakness, is the oldest of the three Triple Crown races and dates back to 1867.

With Medina Spirit now facing disqualification after failing two separate drug tests after winning the Kentucky Derby in May and Rombauer winning the Preakness Stakes last month, there won’t be a chance at this year’s Belmont Stakes to win the Triple Crown to win. The last time a horse could win all three races was in 2018, when Justify became the second horse to win the Triple Crown in this century after the American Pharoah in 2015.

Nonetheless, the 153rd Belmont Stakes looks to be an interesting race, with Essential Quality finishing fourth in the Kentucky Derby as a 2-1 favorite this morning with second post. The winner of this year’s Preakness Stakes Rombauer has meanwhile taken third place and is the second choice to win the race this weekend with 3: 1 odds. However, Todd Pletcher’s Bourbonic has taken the first post position at odds of 15-1.

Whether you’re looking for Bouronic, Essential Quality, Rombauer, or one of the other five horses that will be racing this year, we’ll show you how to watch the 2021 Belmont Stakes from anywhere in the world.
